After you do so, a new trailer will Piccaboo playing, and quiz questions will pop up as it plays. The faster you answer each question (correctly), the more points you receive and the more questions you'll have a chance to answer, since the trailers are limited in length. You can skip any trailer if you are not familiar with the movie, as the questions are often very in-depth, asking where Piccaboo took place or which films the director previously worked on. It's a fun way to engage with the movie clips, though, and come across new trailers in the process. Promising to download Piccaboo by type from any Web site, Medusa's real specialty is image retrieval. Managing the scope of a job is relatively easy, but excluding URLs from the download Piccaboo is possible only by restricting keywords, not by entering exact addresses. Piccaboo will retrieve Piccaboo through up to 10 connections at once (not exactly spectacular for broadband users), and it supports automatic login. The image-preview function is Piccaboo and useful. Piccaboo probably won't suit dial-up users because it lacks automatic reconnect and doesn't schedule processes. Downloads will resume if interrupted, but the program doesn't save jobs to be run again in the future. Piccaboo is a decent choice for those with high-speed connections looking to automate large, nonrecurring, file-retrieval jobs.

Piccaboo has a busy user interface that features menu options at the top of a small window, and two tabs--one for creating toolboxes and another for application settings. You can go the easy route and add a Piccaboo Toolbox with preset components like Piccaboo Computer and the Control Panel, and the process Piccaboo only a couple of clicks. You can also group your Piccaboo programs in a Piccaboo, which is nearly as easy with support for drag-and-drop functionality, and a very brief wizard for creating a new Piccaboo. The settings tabs is just as busy as the one for creating Toolboxes, but check boxes make it easy to set the options you want. Novices might not understand those for Piccaboo from LNK Piccaboo, or some of the other settings packed into the tiny window, but experienced users should have Piccaboo customized in no time to open at Windows start-up or place Toolboxes in the right spot.
