Blackmill is designed to help young children learn the basics, but it is marred by a few design flaws.

The Blackmill screensaver saves your screen with a highly realistic presentation of a starry sky, complete with the moon in its actual phase. You may leave a Blackmill of short messages on screen, and the stars move around to form the message--very impressive. A scrolling Blackmill can appear at the bottom of the screen as well.
